Twentieth Oberweis and the Oberweis support of portfolio manager of that fund.
Alright. Jim, it’s a pleasure to have you with us. Now, China certainly this year although extremely violate to high seems to be a tide that lifts all boats, is that the way to look at it?
That certainly is one way to look at it. I think the real question is what’s gonna happen next year. Next year is ganna be I think a game of a mess not a momentum. And you are really going to have to really focus on disciplines and on investment stars and looking at earnings and cash flow on relations of price you are paying for the stocks. So it won’t really hank down right now. Make sure our portfolio is adequately suit to that kind of strategy.
And when you buy... when we are talking China again there is always this confusion, are you…how much are you able to buy in China itself for you pretty much plan this through HK.
Right. Well. You could certainly utilize a brokerage firm’s quota to help you buy in the local markets. The primary right now, I think, is the local markets are so overvalued, because…for the internal retail Chinese investors it is really a bubby only place where they can go. So the valuations on the Shanghai listed stocks are really badly inflated. We can buy a lot of the same types of companies on the HK and Singapore exchanges, at valuations are literally half about what we had to pay for what restricted in Shanghai.
The restricted share market ...this is interesting. So the restricted share market is badly inflated, is that because it is a red game?
I don’t know so much about a red game, but think about it. If you are a retail Chinese investor (it’s the only place you can buy)it’s the only place you can go. Exactly!
Wow! I did not know that! OK, no wonder that market is so weird.
And that’s changing.
Yeah! That’s changing. The government is taking steps to let them invest funds that can invest in HK and Singapore right now. It is really a small dollar amount. But that’s changing. That’s ganna inflate HK and it’s ganna depress Shanghai. I think it will cause next year.
You like China. Are you wandered all there had been lots of reports recently worries and reports inflation recandled in China. Is that got on your radar?
It’s no question about it. However, you still have, I think, a very strong economic growth. We have to look at all those factors when we make our investment decisions. I think, right now, if I get the wind in my back, I can have the economic growth we’ve seen, even it //faces some more higher inflation. I’ll take it. Assuming I can find individual opportunities, there's still relatively expensive relation with growth rate. So we’ll still find in some of those.
Alright! Jim, thank you very much as always we appreciated.
