W: Well, I'm always interested in flowers. And in 1980, I read Margery Fish's book Cottage Garden Flowers, which is full of practical advice on creating and maintaining a cottage garden with humour and ease. It drove me to participate in looking after a garden.

M: And do you like visiting gardens?

W: Yes, definitely. I used to go to Kew Gardens a lot when I lived in West London 2 years ago. I learned a lot from my visits. 

M: Then do you grow many plants yourself?

W: I don't grow many plants from seed, or buy plants at the market, but I have several friends, and we often give each other lovely plants. My garden is mostly made up of these plants.

M: Yes, it's for my final year, so I need to get a good mark.

　　M: Hi! Bob Richards here. Short videos are becoming increasingly popular these days. To make videos attract people, you do need some tips. First, do your research! Find out what kind of videos people are into and then choose your style. Many people enjoy videos of animals doing funny things or people teaching cooking, but the ones with the most likes are often music videos. Next, think about how you can make something bigger, better and different — something that you and the people you know would like to watch. Moreover, you should practice making very short high-quality videos first. Tell your friends about your videos and ask them for their opinion. However, aim to upload at least 10 good ones before letting them know about your channel. Last but not least, make sure you upload new videos with new information at least twice a week and that your titles are unusual, a bit different but clear. Many people give up after two or three months because nobody's watching, but attracting a large number of people takes time — often two or three years. It's hard work, but definitely worth it!
