W:No, but I have a friend who does and he owes me a favor, so I’ll ask if he can do it for free.   

M: That would be amazing. I’m so glad Barbara recommended you.

W: Barbara with the cooking books? Yeah, she was one of my first clients. Her books sell really well, like 10,000 copies a month.

M: Well, I’ll be happy with a small percentage of that.

W: Trust me. By the time we’re finished, you’ll outsell her.

W: I’m sorry to say that any weekend plans may need to be canceled, whatever they are. We thought the last of the winter snow had fallen, but there is now a severe weather warning from Friday all the way until Tuesday for heavy snowfall, with at least 12 inches predicted to fall on Saturday alone. This will be followed by up to 8 inches on Sunday   and another 6 on Monday.The police are urging people only to travel if it’s essential. Temperatures will be extremely low during the snowstorm, with a predicted low of -12 °C and a high of -3 °C on Saturday.   Because it’s going to be so cold, make sure that your heating is working and run hot water regularly to stop your pipes from freezing and breaking.
