1.W: It's 4 o'clock in Los Angeles now. Are people in the city having afternoon tea?

M: No. They are working.

2.M: I want to make a trip to Tokyo. And is it sunny in Tokyo now?

W: No. It's raining.

3.M: Where would you like to visit?

W: Well, I want to visit Thailand. It is always warm there.

4.W: Does your brother walk to school, Mike?

M: No. He takes the bus, but my sister and I do.

W: Drive our car. But the best way to go there is taking the train. So we aren't tired and save a lot of time.

Their son, Jack, wants to make some Chinese friends. They are going to take a lot of pictures. After the visit to Shanghai, they are going to Hangzhou.

M: Mike is visiting Qingdao with his parents. In the morning, they take the train there. Mike's aunt Sally lives in Qingdao. She meets them at the train station. Mike's uncle Peter and Mike's cousin Jane are very happy to see them. After a big lunch in a restaurant, Peter drives them to the beach first. It is cloudy but hot. So they have great fun swimming in the sea. Then in the afternoon, they go to the Wusi Square and buy some nice presents. They take lots of photos during the trip. They are tired but happy. In the evening, they live in a nice hotel.
