The first charity shop opened in 1947.Now there are over 7,000 charity shops in the UK. Most workers in charity shops are volunteers, but each shop has a manager who earns money. Every morning many bags of things are sent to these shops. Over 90% of the things are donated by kind people around the country. The shops just make money by selling them. Every year, more than 110 million pounds can be raised in this way. All the money finally goes to charity work. It is used to help sick and poor children or homeless and disabled people. In a charity shop people can buy cheap but nice things. It is thought to be a special thing to go shopping in charity shops.

Moonlight Town is a place near Sunshine Town. It used to be the home of many wild animals. There were green hills and fresh air. However, the area has changed a lot over these years. There are now many roads and buildings and a lot more people. It no longer provides a good environment for wildlife. In the past, people could only go to Moonlight Town by bike or on foot and it was very quiet there. Things have changed a lot, and a new airport has been in use since 2004.Now, people can go to Moonlight Town by bus, underground or air. It is much faster and easier. The changes to Moonlight Town have brought many benefits but they have also caused many problems for wildlife. Some animals and plants have left their living areas because of these changes.
