听第一篇独白,回答第16—20小题。
My name is Vivian. My birthday is on April 22, Earth Day. This year I celebrated my birthday in a very special and meaningful way.On that day, I went to Wuyi Square with my friends early in the morning. We set a table at the central square and put many cloth toys on it. Those cloth toys were all made of old clothes. I made them in my free time. We planned to give people the toys for free and tell them how to reuse things. At first, nobody came to us. I felt upset until a young man came and said we had done a great thing. His words encouraged us a lot, and then we began to talk actively to the people who passed by. In the end, all of our toys were handed out. I felt really excited. I think it is the best birthday that I have ever had!
听第二篇独白,回答第21—25小题。
For your next trip, why not visit Singapore? Singapore is a small country to the south of China, but there are many things for the visitors to do. It has a very large zoo, a beautiful plant garden and different kinds of museums. It is also a wonderful place for shopping. Don’t plan to drive a car in Singapore. The traffic is heavy in some parts of the country. If you decide to visit Singapore, bring enough money. Living in Singapore is quite expensive. Also, pack light clothes because Singapore is very hot all the year round.
