M: Dear Mr. Black,

What a great season for sports at our school! The three-month football season began in March. Our class football team tried very hard this year. With Tom leading them, they made it to the final for the first time. But the match was difficult for the boys because of the poor weather conditions. Our school team seldom practised in such wet weather before. At the very end of the match, Tom scored a goal and our team won the final!
