M: I'm in a hurry to send the letter back!
W: Where are you going, sir?
M: Harvard University, please. Is it far from here?
W: Not far. It's about ten minutes' drive.

W: Send an ambulance as quickly as possible! My husband is having a serious headache!

W: Coffee, thanks.
Text 6
W: Tom, I feel very nervous about the English speech contest tonight.
M: Me, too. Everybody is. It's very common.
W: How can I relax?
M: I think the best way is to practice before the contest. If you are confident, you will feel much more relaxed.
W: That's a good idea. It's only 3:00 pm. We have two hours to go. Let's practice some more.
M: OK. Let's begin now.
Text 7
W: What's your plan for the weekend, Ken?
M: It will be a comfortable weekend. I plan to sit on my sofa all weekend and watch the DVDs I've just bought. I might finish watching Merlin.
W: I don't know how you can do that all weekend, Ken. If I were you, I'd get bored.
M: I know, but that's really what I want to do.
W: I really think you spend too much time indoors. Why not spend some time outdoors?
M: I really should, but I don't want to change my plan for this weekend. I'll go out next weekend.
Text 8
W: Excuse me, I've been waiting here for 10 minutes. Do you know how often the No.636 bus runs?
M: It runs every 15 minutes. You must have missed the last one.
W: It seems you got here just at the right moment. Do you have a bus schedule?
M: Yes, I do. You can buy a bus schedule.
W: I see, thank you. By the way, is this the right bus for the museum?
M: Yes, it is.
W: Do I have to change?
M: No. The museum is the last stop of this bus.
W: Thanks a lot.
Text 9
W: Who's your best friend, Tony?
M: Well, I guess it's David. We've been going to baseball games together for six years.
W: Oh? And how did you meet each other?
M: Well, it was really interesting. You know, David is a police officer. One day, I was late for a baseball game, and I was in a hurry; and he stopped me for speeding. As he was writing me a ticket, I found out that he was a big baseball fan, too, so we arranged to go to a game together the next weekend. I still had to pay for the speeding ticket, though.
W: What's David like?
M: He's really interesting and has a great sense of humor. What about you? Who's your best friend?
W: Oh, Daisy, I think. We met in a bookstore in Italy about four years ago. She's a really creative person. She writes stories.
M: Oh, I'd like to meet her sometime.
W: Would you? Well, I'm planning to see her next weekend. Maybe you can come with me.
M: Yeah, that sounds great.

This is the Air Museum information line. In the museum, you can see 140 old planes. It's one of the biggest air museums in Europe. The museum is 48 miles from London and is not far away from the village of Cherford. You can get there by car, or if you come to the village by train, take the 51 bus from Cherford Station. In summer, the museum is open every day from ten in the morning to seven in the afternoon. In winter, it closes earlier, at four o'clock. A ticket for adults is £6, and for children and students is £4.5. For families, there's a special ticket which costs £18. This year we have something extra for visitors. You can go up in a small plane that was built in 1930 and see the countryside from the air. You can only do this on Sundays and you should book this trip seven days before you come.
