M: It was very cold last Sunday morning. While I was walking on my way to the library, I noticed two street cleaners cleaning the street in the cold wind. Seeing them working so hard, I was deeply moved. After arriving at school on Monday, I told my classmates about that and we discussed what we could do to help the street cleaners. Some classmates suggested helping with the cleaning. Some suggested bringing some warm clothes to them. Others advised getting some hot food for them. Finally, we all agreed some of us would share in the cleaning work and that others would bring some hot food the next day. That day, I got up early, brought some cleaning tools with me and met my classmates at a prearranged place. Soon we found those cleaners. When we handed them the hot food and expressed our appreciation for their hard work, they looked a little surprised at first. And then they took the food and thanked us happily. When they enjoyed the food, we began to sweep the street and clean the dustbins. Soon the street and dustbins became clean. Although it was not exciting and we were tired after cleaning, we all thought it was worth doing.
