W: Yes, I think so, although people suppose that being a teacher is easy and boring.  

M: What problem do you think you have when doing that job? 

W: I have some problems keeping my students organized, orderly and focused on tasks. Now I'm trying my best to improve that skill.  

M: Is it hard to make your dream come true? 

W: Every job needs time and effort, and a teacher does as well. Apart from the academic knowledge I was taught at university, I had to learn many other soft skills.  

M: Why do you choose that job? 

W: I really admire my high school Chinese teacher, and I want to be like her — patient, thoughtful and sympathetic. My parents both approve of my decision. 

M: Does the job have anything to do with your major at university? 

W: Sure. I studied Chinese Language and Literature, which does support me a lot in my career path.  

M: What does the society think about your job? 

W: I'm not quite sure, but I'm proud to be a teacher, an honorable job and I also believe in what I'm doing right now.

John was an enthusiastic runner who decided to participate in a race. He trained hard, and all his friends supported him. But on the day of the race, he was still nervous because he knew he was not quite suitable for the race. As the race began, John found himself struggling to keep up with the other runners. His legs ached and he was short of breath. He felt like giving up. Just when John was about to quit, he noticed a man running barefoot beside him. The man had no shoes, and his clothes were old, yet he was smiling and seemed to be enjoying the race. Moved by the man's spirit, John pushed himself to keep going. As they approached the finish line, John used the last of his energy and ran fast, following the barefoot man and crossing the finish line. Trying to calm his breathing, John turned to the man and said, “You are amazing! How did you manage to finish the race so well without proper shoes?” The man smiled and replied, “I'm a local pizza delivery man. I run around all day, delivering pizzas. Running a long-distance race is a piece of cake compared to that!”
