M: Now I want to say something about my life in the past. When I was a boy, things were different. I had to get up at 6 o'clock every morning. My dad had some chickens. I had to give them food every morning. That was not very bad in summer. But in winter, it was cold. Then I had to walk to school with my little sister. It was two miles to school and two miles back in the evening. There was a bus, but we didn't have the money. There weren't so many cars on the roads then, so the streets were safe to play in. We had some good times. We could go out and our parents didn't have to worry about us. Life was hard, but people were happy.

W: J.M.Barrie was from Scotland. As a boy, he loved reading different books. In the 1890s, he started to write and became a famous writer later. In the book, Peter Pan is a boy who runs away from his home and doesn't want to grow up. The book is about Peter Pan, Windy, and other children's stories in Neverland.
