W: There are many festivals in China. Here are some of them. The Spring Festival is the most important festival of the year. It’s usually in January or February. It is a time for families to get together. People wear new clothes and visit their close relatives like grandparents, uncles and aunts. The children will get lucky money.

The Lantern Festival is on the 15th day of the first month of the Chinese lunar year. People admire lanterns and eat yuanxiao on that day.

The Dragon Boat Festival is a festival for over 2，000 years. People have dragon boat races in many places and eat zongzi to remember Qu Yuan on that day.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is the second most important Chinese festival after the Spring Festival. On the Mid-Autumn night, families get together to enjoy the bright full moon and have mooncakes and fruit.

Teachers’ Day is the best time for us to express our thanks to our teachers. Chinese Teachers’ Day is on September 10th.
