M: We all know humans love to talk. Just look at how much we use our phones! But why is socializing so important?

First, it improves our mental health. Talking to people gives us an opportunity to hear our thought out loud. This gives us a sense of relief and allows us to get useful feedback from whoever is listening. If you're feeling lonely, reach out to someone you trust and tell them how you feel. It's actually the best cure.

Second, it makes us more successful. Lots of successful business people credit their success to their ability to network and build relationships. So start attending more conferences, open a LinkedIn account, or invite someone you admire out to dinner and start picking their brain for ideas. These can all lead to a better career.

Finally, it expands our understanding of the world. Talking to people from different backgrounds allows us to experience a world of knowledge that's different from our own. Taking the time to see the world through someone else's eyes allows us to encounter things we never knew existed.
