W: No! Im so scared of that. Dont you think it is very dangerous? If youre not careful, you could be killed. I went skateboarding once. I dare not go again.

M: Its an adventurous, free and thrilling sport. Extreme sports these days are well equipped and Im experienced, so its OK.

W: Let me put it this way, you know Ive kept a dog for a long time.

M: Yes, its very smart.

W: Yeah, but I always have a lead attached to it if we go out. However smart the dog is, it is like a two-year-old child who couldnt find his home without me. Therefore, safety is our top priority.

M: I often play extreme sports, including base jumping, bungee jumping and so on. Its not like what you said.

W: So, Peter, your new electronic album is called The Hard Way. Does this title have some meaning in your life?

M: Yes, thats about my performing career. I didnt start with a big plan. I just sort of fell into it. I did it the hard way.

W: Tell me about that.

M: I was playing with some local musicians in my town and happened to meet some other musicians from London. I ended up moving to London, and we used to play on the streets.

W: You mean outside?

M: Yes, wed play outside and sometimes people would give us money. Then, we got invited to play indoors at various places such as halls or bars. And my career started to take off from there.

W: What style of music do you play?

M: At the very start, on the street, I would play blues music. Then, later, I found pop music got a better response. As for the album, however, I tried a jazz style.

W: And whats next in your career? I understand youre going to be touring shortly.

M: Thats right. The tour starts off in the UK, then France and finishes up in the US.

W: Peter, thank you very much for speaking to us today and good luck with the tour.

M: Thank you.

W: Welcome to the museum. Before we go in, let me just give you a taste of what we have here. Well, to begin with, we have a fine collection of the twentieth and twenty-first century paintings, many by very well-known artists. Im sure youll recognize several of the paintings. This is the gallery that attracts the largest number of visitors, so its best to go there early in the day, before the crowds arrive. Then there are the nineteenth-century sculptures. The museum was opened in the middle of that century, and several of famous artists each donated one work. Theres also the collection of coins. Most of them were discovered by farmers digging their gardens, and donated to the museum! And our clay collection was left to the museum by its founder. In terms of his will, were not allowed to add anything to that collection. He believed it was perfect itself, and we dont see any reason to disagree!
