Have you ever done or thought about volunteering before? Volunteering means spending time and effort helping somebody or something. As for me, I've volunteered at an animal protection group to help feed and walk dogs. I love animals and want to work at an animal hospital after leaving school.

Back in 2022, some friends and I went to the animal protection group. There, I was able to give food to the animals. There were not only dogs. I also saw many kinds of other animals, such as ducks and chickens. But the most common thing we did was to help dogs by walking them. I felt a bit sad for the dogs because most of them looked old and dirty. 

So I made sure to give one of the dogs a good walk. I remember it was a big black dog. It was a little shy and just stayed alone. But, to my surprise, when I threw a ball, it really enjoyed it. It was pretty funny to watch the dog run through a group of ducks to get the ball back.

All in all, volunteering for the animal protection group is helpful for both humans and animals. I really enjoyed my time there. You can volunteer to do something meaningful to protect animals.

Have you heard of the air taxi? On February 27, 2024, an air taxi finished its first test flight in Guangdong. The flight started from the Shekou Cruise Homeport in Shenzhen to Jiuzhou Port in Zhuhai. This successful flight means that the travel time from Shenzhen to Zhuhai can be shortened to 20 minutes.

An air taxi can carry people from place to place by air. The taxi uses the latest technology. It looks like a plane. And it doesn't need a long runway to take off and land. It can go straight up and down easily. The air taxi is powered by electricity. It has a top speed of 200 kilometers per hour and can carry up to five people.

Air taxis take a big step forward. The local government provides the strong support for them, especially in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. If everything goes well, the air taxi can start carrying passengers in 2026.
