Attention, students! Our annual Dress-Up Day is coming. Come to the school gymnasium on Friday, dressed up as a brown rabbit, a red fox, or any other animals. If you are interested in dancing, you can contact our dance teacher Ella Smith to become one of the yellow lions and practice with the dance team on Wednesday. They need more students to participate in the dance on Dress-Up Day. If you don’t want to turn into an animal, you could simply wear red and gold that show our school spirit, or white and blue — the colors of our national flag. We will have a fun-filled time that day.Team performances start at 8:30 am. The afternoon is for free individual shows and games. Everyone is able to vote for their favorite costume. Voting will begin at 4:00 pm and last two hours, and the results will be announced at 6:30 pm. The three people with the most votes will be awarded front-row tickets to a concert of a famous pop group. The top winner will also be on the front page of the local newspaper. Last year, Amy Hall gave the newspaper interview in the company of our teacher. We’ll find out on Friday who will take her place this year!
