Cindy found a good place for her camping. She was excited, because she had wanted her parents to take her camping ever since her friend had told her how fun it was. As they arrived at the campground, Cindy and her father put up the tent. It was hard work. They failed twice, but finally, the tent was in place. After that, Cindy opened the sleeping bags, and her mom checked the tent and nearby for dangerous animals. While Cindy and her mom got the camp area ready, her dad started the campfire and cooked their dinner. They had hot dogs and soup! When it got dark, they lay in the tent. As Cindy started to fall asleep she heard a strange noise and began to get scared. Working up her courage, she got up and looked outside. It was her dad pouring water on the fire! “I won't be scared of anything again,” Cindy promised herself as she went back to her sleeping bag.
