M: Out of those, which one interests you the most? 

W: Well, I'd love to be an art teacher, but singers usually make more money. And I think painters might get lonely a lot of the time. What are your thoughts, Andrew? 

M: Oh! I'm thirsty. Could you pass me a bottle of water?

W: Sure. Here you are. Remember to put the empty bottle in the purple bag. Don't throw it on the grass.

W: I'm sorry, Nathan. It's nothing to do with you. I'm just so tired and angry with my neighbors.

M: The new ones who just moved in? What's wrong with them?

W: They're very noisy. Every night, they have a party, practice playing the drums, or have a big argument. Listen! The rock music starts playing.

M: Oh, I see what you mean. It's very loud. 

W: I haven't slept well since they moved in last week. It drives me crazy.

M: Why not talk with them directly about this problem?

W: I've already talked to them, but it didn't help at all.

M: Well, I think you should call the police as they have influenced your life that much.

I know you volunteer at the old people's home on Saturdays. Please tell me more about that in your next email.

Best wishes!

Finally, school finished. I went to the school hall quickly and practiced with the band. Then, people started to arrive. It was half past seven and it was time for the concert to start. I was worried that I couldn't play well!

Then, Jodie introduced our first song. Everybody looked happy. After that, I started to relax. We played fourteen songs. I really enjoyed performing in front of 200 people! Finally, our concert ended at 9:00 pm. 

Eight years ago I had to change schools because of my father's new job. On the first day at my new school, I was really nervous and hardly said a word to anyone for hours. Then the morning break started, I went outside and stood on my own. At that moment, a girl walked up to me. She introduced herself as Monica and started talking with me right away. We soon discovered we had a lot in common. We once shared the same books online. Both of us liked soft music. And we were both learning to play the guitar. Also, we lived just a few minutes' walk from each other! 

Monica has been my best friend since that day. Naturally we sometimes argue as everyone does, but we're very close.
