W: Yes, it is. Here's your application form. Is this your first time volunteering?
M: Not exactly, but I'm really excited to join you all for the community cleanup.
M: It was definitely worth watching twice.
W: The music and sound effects were great, but I thought the plot was a bit predictable.
M: Really? I think the pianist character was very well developed. Plus it has been getting a lot of positive reviews online.
M: I just checked the departure board. Our train is on platform 3.
W: Great. You stay here with the luggage and I'll grab two coffees. There is a coffee house near the parking lot.
M: Sounds good, but make it quick. We're boarding in 20 minutes.
M: Hey, Katie. It's Peter. How's your group project coming along?
W: It's going really well, thanks. Your book has been a big help.
M: I'm glad it's been useful. By the way, could I get it back soon? I'll need it for the upcoming exam.
W: Of course, I'll bring it over to you tomorrow.
W: Can I help you, sir?
M: Yes, I forgot to return the three books on time. How much do I need to pay?

M: Not now. Please reschedule the meeting to tomorrow afternoon.
W: May I know what happened?
M: I'm in a rush to the hospital to take care of my son. He broke his leg while playing football.
W: Oh, that's terrible. I'm really sorry to hear that. I'll inform the clients immediately.

M: Great choices, but the steak might be a bit too much for a child. Just letting you know.
W: In that case, no steak. Could you recommend something else?
M: Sure. How about the French fries? They are a favorite among our younger guests.
W: Sounds good. She'll have that. Thanks.
M: It's my pleasure. Any starters or desserts? If you order both, you'll have 10% off the total bill.

W: Good morning. What can I do for you?
M: Good morning. It's this jacket right here. I didn't notice the tear on the inside until I put it on this morning.
W: Oh, I'm so sorry about that. Do you have your proof of purchase with you?
M: Absolutely. Here it is.
W: Thank you. Let me take a look. Unfortunately, our store policy only allows returns within 28 days after purchase. It looks like you bought this over two months ago, so we can't give you your money back.
M: But what about the tear? I can't wear it like this.
W: I completely understand, sir. How about offering you a replacement instead?
M: I do love the style. So in that case, let's do an exchange.
W: Looks like we're out of black in your size, but we have some available in brown. Would you like to try one on?
M: Hmm...now that you mention it, the brown one actually looks even better. I'll take one.
W: I'm glad you like it. Let me pack that up for you.
M: Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.

M: Hi, Eva. How's the poster design for the Tree Planting Day coming along?
W: Hi, Ben. Things are actually moving along quite well. I've got some great ideas for the design.
M: Sounds good. Maybe we could also add an appealing phrase to make it more powerful.
W: That's a great point. How about “Growing a greener future”? It's inspiring and easy to remember.
M: Love it. This phrase is sure to help get more people involved. And I believe the activity will definitely help raise more awareness of protecting nature.
W: Exactly. Plus, it's a great chance for us students to better connect with each other.
M: Definitely. It's always nice to take a break from the daily routine. Anyway, after the event, all participants are asked to share photos and updates on how many trees they have planted.
W: Good idea. That'll show the impact we're making and encourage more participation in future events.
M: Let's go together this Saturday one more time to finalize the details, including what and how many tools to purchase. I'm glad you're on board, Eva.
W: Happy to help.
听下面一段独白,回答第18至第20三个小题。现在你有15秒钟的时间阅读这三个小题。
M: Hello, everyone. My name is Michael, and I'm excited to be back on campus today. I'd like to share a little about my company, Hungry Harvest. Have you ever noticed that all the apples in the grocery store are almost the same size and color? In reality, fruits and vegetables come in all sorts of funny shapes and sizes, but most stores don't sell them because they don't look perfect. As a result, tons of produce that's good enough to eat goes to waste every day. That's where Hungry Harvest steps in. We collect these imperfect fruits and vegetables, produce that would otherwise be thrown away, and put them in boxes. We sell them at a lower price than what you'd find in most grocery stores, helping families eat healthily on a budget while reducing food waste. It creates a win-win situation. There's an even bigger part of our mission. For every purchase and delivery, Hungry Harvest donates healthy food to needy people. So far, Hungry Harvest has recovered 300,000 pounds of produce and provided them all to those in need. I'm really proud of the work we've done, but what matters most is the impact we're making on the community. My hope for all of you after all these years of hard work in school, is that your goal isn't just about what you've achieved for yourself, but what you've done to make the world a better place. Thank you.
