W: So, what made you want to be a sailing instructor, Matt?

M:Well, I spent my summer holidays at my grandparents' home by the seaside and my cousin taught me how to sail , but it never occurred to me until my friend suggested I consider becoming an instructor.

W:How did you find somewhere to train?

M:I searched the courses on the Internet. Although there were a wide range of courses at reasonable prices, a lot of the ones I liked were full. Finally, I found this school from an advertisement in the newspaper. 

W:And did you like the other people on the course?

M:Well, they were all very eager to learn, and I felt lucky to be in a group like that.

W:Tell me more about the course.

M:It was very hard work indeed, but I learnt so much. After the course was over,the thing I missed most wasn't the early mornings, though there were some memorable sunrises. It was never reaching the end of a day without acquiring at least one different skill. Now I'm qualified. The school has even said I can come back and sail there whenever I want, which is great.

M:I couldn't find the data I need. Would a survey work?

W:I don't think you will have enough time to design it and then analyze your research data.It's better to interview some professionals.  

M:Thank you. I'll follow your advice.

M: At six thirty. Would you please come half an hour earlier , so we can have a drink first?

W: OK, fine.  Let's meet at the café in front of the cinema. By the way, shall I take some snacks with me, Bob?

M: You don't need to. I will ask David to take some.

W:Yes.

M:How much does the magazine cost?

W:It's almost ￡3 now and I heard they're going to put the price up to ￡4 soon next month.  I think few people would buy it if the price went up to ￡5.

M:I bet you'll still buy it.You wouldn't be able to live without your fashion magazine!
