1.M: Many teenagers are getting fatter and fatter. Their parents worry about them.

W: You're right. Many teenagers don't have healthy eating habits. They prefer snacks.

M: It's my pleasure, Lily. I think you are good enough to become a great chairperson.

W: Well,it's exciting to be the new chairperson, but I'm worried about my ability to do all the extra work.

M: You should be confident enough to take this job.You are the most suitable person,I think.

W: It's very nice of you to say so.I'll do my best.

W: Dear Simon,

I'm writing to help you. You wrote that a friend sent you an email full of anger. He wrote it all in capital letters and it made you feel he was shouting at you. He told you he was angry about what you said to him. Here is my advice — when you write back, do not use capital letters because it is impolite. Write a kind email in return, but do not send it right away. Give him some time to calm down. When he receives your email, I'm sure he will find his mistakes.
