M: I had an argument with my deskmate. I feel worried.

W: Maybe you should call him up.

W: One day, Fred was playing basketball at home. Unluckily, he broke the mirror near the window because he was so careless. He was afraid his father would be angry with him, so he became upset and thought for quite a long time. Suddenly, he came up with an excellent idea. He drew a picture of his father in the mirror. He was happy with his idea. When his father came back, he looked at himself in the mirror. But he noticed he was shorter than usual in the mirror. Then he realized what had happened and got very angry. But Fred ran away as quickly as possible.

I have many problems at home. My mum and dad often quarrel. This makes me sad. Moreover, they don't understand me. They never communicate with me. If I watch TV or stay out late, they will be unhappy. They want me to be an engineer when I grow up, but I'm not interested at all. I want to be a doctor. My parents always give me advice about this or that, and I have to follow it, or they will be angry. They don't think that I can decide for myself. My parents don't want me to take part in any after-school activities and only want me to study. I want to have my own circle of friends. What can I do?
