I’m glad that my pen friend Tom from America will pay a visit to my school next month. Now let me tell something about my school life.

My classmates and I live not far from school, so most of us walk to school. It takes me only five minutes to get to school. We all have lunch at school. The dishes are nice and we often have rice and sometimes we have baozi or mantou. We like listening to music at lunchtime. It makes us happy.

In our school, there are four classes in the morning and two in the afternoon. We take exercise to keep fit. After school, we go to different clubs. I am in the Cooking Club. If Tom is also interested in Chinese dishes, I will teach him how to cook them.

What will the future be like? Here are ideas from different persons.

Mr. King thinks if we don’t take good care of the earth now, our children and grandchildren will be born into a world with much air pollution. There will be fewer trees and more buildings on the earth, because there will be more people.

And Daniel’s answer is that the weather in the future will be much hotter. People will be able to live in the sea, away from the crowded and noisy cities on land.

However, Ann believes that life in the future will be better. People in the world will use “new energy cars” in five years, so there will be less pollution. People can also travel to some stars at the weekend in the future.
