M: And why a bike ride?

W: Annie and I used to go biking together, so I thought she would appreciate it.

M: How did you get people to give money?

W: I posted information on social media, but I also went door to door in my town just explaining what I was doing and how people could help.

M: So how long did the trip take?

W: It took me two weeks to finish the first part of the trip and another three weeks to complete the rest. In the end, I raised nearly ￡20,000 and donations are still coming in. People's kindness is just amazing.

Welcome, everyone, to our radio program. Today we're going to talk about how technology is changing the way music is made. 

In the past, musicians only used a pen and paper to write their music. But now with computer and phone apps, creating music has become much easier. Musicians can simply sing a song and then these apps will turn it into musical notes.

And that's not all. These modern apps have some really cool functions. When musicians make mistakes, these apps also allow them to edit their music. With just a few taps on the screen, they can move things around, try out different sounds and create music like they're in a recording place, all from their phones.

So even though some musicians still like to write music by hand, technology has really changed the game. It's an exciting time to be a musician with so many new possibilities waiting to be explored.
