M: A little better, nurse, although my arm is still quite painful.

W: It will take a while to heal after the operation, but it should hurt a little less every day.

W: I've just taken my English exam. The results won't be known until next week.

M: Did you finish all the questions?

W: Yes, there was nothing I found too difficult.

M: Do you know a student called Tom Barlow?

W: Yes, he's in my class. I'll be teaching him this afternoon. Is something wrong?

M: No, I just found a book with his name on it and wanted to give it back to him.

W: I can't get the door open. Every time I turn the key it clicks, but it almost feels like the key will break.

M: Let me try. You probably need to twist it or find the right teeth.

W: That's why he's always trying to convince you to follow his path. He thinks it will help you become a man.

M: No, he just wants me out of the house because he likes you better. He knows I'd rather go to acting school. Besides, I'd get in a lot more trouble these days for lying to the military. Even if I want to join up, I still have three years to wait. In addition, he probably just has nice memories of the place he met Mom. They met in his third four-year tour and he quit right after that.

Fred Rogers is an American television actor who changed children's television. His show began in 1968 and was named Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. For 33 years Mister Rogers' Neighborhood was on television, and in that time it was made 895 broadcasts!Fred Rogers wanted to make television educational for children and adults. The show was about understanding complex issues in society, but it was also used to teach people good morals. He had other projects as well, but he never cared about making money and donated most of his profits to people in need. In 1978, between the filming of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, Fred hosted an interview show as well. It only lasted for one year. The people he invited were usually important figures like politicians and sports stars. Fred felt that having heart-to-heart conversations was the only way to understand people around you, so he tried his best to put this idea into his work. Fred is also an author of many books! The majority of these books are for parents, and give good advice and techniques for how to talk to the children about difficult topics. Some of his books are Going to the Doctor, The New Baby and When a Pet Dies. He thought it is very important for parents to talk about these things which are hard to understand for a young child but will still happen in his life.
