W： I see．It sounds much less secure．But you don't need to think too much about having a steady job when you are only 23．

M： That's true．

W： What about the salaries?

M： Well，the Pistoia job pays much better in the short term．I'll be getting about ＄22,000 a year there，but only ＄20,000 at the Polytechnic Institute．And the hours are also different．At the Polytechnic Institute，I'd have to do 35 hours a week whereas the Pistoia school is only asking for 30 hours of teaching．

W： Hmm...

M： And the types of teaching are so different．The Polytechnic Institute serves adults and mostly involves preparation for exams like the Cambridge certifications．The language school wants me to do a bit of exam preparation，but also quite a lot of work in companies and factories．

W： Well，that sounds much more varied and interesting．I think that working at the language school would be a wiser choice．

M： Right，and with the Polytechnic Institute position，I'd be stuck at the school all day．

Adam Driver is an American actor who gained worldwide attention for playing Kylo Ren in the 2015 film Star Wars： The Force Awakens． Born in San Diego in 1983， Driver moved with his mother to Indiana when he was seven． He starred in several plays in high school and sang in a choir． He joined the United States Marine Corps after graduating and served just under three years， as he was medically discharged after breaking his chest bone． He then went to college at the University of Indianapolis， but he transferred to the Juilliard School to study acting． He graduated in 2009． In 2010，he performed in the Broadway play Mrs．Warren's Profession， and in 2011， he acted in the play Man and Boy． He starred in his first film， J.Edgar， in 2011， and since then he has made appearances in many films． He won the Volpi Cup Award for his role in the film Hungry Hearts in 2014． Driver's next film will be The Last Duel， which is scheduled to come out in 2021．
