Unit 1 Growing up

10 Listen to the conversation and tick the words and expressions mentioned.
Student 1: Yesterday, I was looking at some old photos at home with Mom. They brought back some really strong memories for both of us.
Student 2: Oh, like what? Learning to walk and saying your first word?
Student 1: Yes, like that. Mom showed me her favorite photo. It's of me starting school, carrying my schoolbag for the first time. It made me wonder: when I look back on my life in 20 or 30 years, what will my special memories be?
Student 2: Do you mean getting married and having children?
Student 1: Yes, that's it. I'm not sure if I want to have any children yet. I think I'll have a clearer idea about my future when I graduate from college. But I believe the day I get married will be the most important day of my life.
Student 2: Well, that's a long time in the future. Before that, you have to go to college...
Student 1: Yes, that's true. I think my mom will be a bit sad when I go to college though.
Student 2: I'm sure she will. But all children have to grow up and move away someday. Anyway, think about how happy she'll be after you graduate from college.
Student 1: That's true. When I get a job and can really look after myself, she'll be so proud of me!
