M: Yes, I will graduate from the university in two years.

M: It's interesting to learn about different things and different cultures in the past. And maybe I will travel to some African countries during my holidays. What about you?
W: I like literature a lot and I want to do some writing.
M: So you want to be a writer, right?
W: Yes, to be a writer has been my dream since I was a child. My parents both support me.

M: Welcome to our studio, Ms. Clark. Congratulations on being selected as the Volunteer of the Year.
W: Thank you, Mark. I'm really excited to be here and share my story.
M:What inspired you to start volunteering, Ms. Clark?
W: Well, I grew up in a community where everyone looked out for each other. The power of kindness stuck with me.Also, my parents were always involved in local charitable work, so it was kind of in my blood.
M:Could you tell us what the best part of volunteering is for you?
W:It's the personal connections — meeting people from all walks of life and knowing that you're part of their journey to a better day. It's an incredibly heartwarming experience.
M: What do you hope to achieve through your volunteering in the long run?
W: To inspire more individuals to get involved. I want to see our community become a place where no one feels left behind, and where everyone is involved in solving problems together.

M: Hi, Monica. Long time no see. Do you still do Tai Chi?
W: Yes, I've just joined a Tai Chi club. I want to do something that is a lot different from what I usually did, like basketball and tennis.
M: I remember you don't like slow-paced activities.
W: Well, I don't usually enjoy slow exercise like yoga, but Tai Chi is not the same as yoga.
M: How do you feel after doing Tai Chi? Do you feel exhausted?
W: After I do Tai Chi, I am full of energy actually. I don't feel exhausted because I haven't had a really hard workout. I feel very relaxed.
M: Would you recommend Tai Chi to your colleagues?
W: Yes, I would. It's difficult to know exactly how you benefit from Tai Chi, but I've heard that it works on your energy levels and focuses your mind so that everything is in balance.

M: You are watching the local news. This is Jerry Davis. Northern California was hit by a severe snowstorm at 5 a.m. Highway 101 near Santa Rosa is closed due to multiple vehicle crashes. Consider using alternative routes such as U.S. Route 12 instead. In fact, major highways, the local airport, and public transportation systems all have been severely affected as snowfall reached record levels. All traffic in and out of the region remains extremely heavy. A truck driver got hurt in his leg while clearing fallen trees on the road in Redding and some people are believed to have suffered back injuries after being hit by tree branches. The roof of the Chico train station collapsed under the weight of the snow, causing long delays for passengers. The snowstorm is expected to reach its peak at 2 p.m. Today, a total of up to 50 centimeters of snow is forecast along with strong winds of more than 70 kilometers per hour. All drivers and travelers are advised to reconsider the necessity of being on the roads in such weather.
