Mum: Timmy, welcome home. How was your time at Grandpa’s?

Timmy: It was great! I went fishing with Grandpa.

Mum: Did you enjoy it?

Timmy: At first, I felt quite bored, but then I started to enjoy it. There were lots of birds to watch, too. I also loved Grandpa’s stories.

Mum: Good to hear that!

Timmy: We caught a big fish and cooked it on the campfire.

Mum: And did you miss your phone?

Timmy: Yes, but only for the first day. After that, I had too much fun to think about it.

Mum: I believe that you could use it less in future.

Timmy: Yes, I think so. I spend too much time on it. There are lots of amazing things to do in the real world.

Mum: (teasingly) So you don’t want it back then?

Timmy: (laughs) Well, I didn’t say that! Smartphones are useful, but we shouldn’t let them take up all our time. I want to find a new place for fishing. Can I check with my phone, please?
