Teacher: Welcome to this week’s book club. What do you think of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Emma?
Emma: I really enjoyed the exciting story of Dorothy and her friends. But the most interesting part for me is, each of them wants а thing from the wizard. But in the end, they find it in themselves.
Teacher: Can you give us an example?
Emma: My favourite character, the Scarecrow, for example. He thinks he is not clever. He wants а brain. But in fact, he can always find а way out. He comes up with an idea to make а boat to cross а river. He is clever! He just doesn’t know.
Ethan: So, we already have the qualities, and we just need to find them.
Emma: Yes, that’s the key idea of the story. It’s a great book about finding our own values.
Teacher: You’re right, Emma. We just need to learn more about ourselves and try.
