Speaker: Welcome to our radio programme Reading Today. The book for this week is a children’s book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The story is about а girl Dorothy. A strong wind takes Dorothy and her dog Toto away from their home. They arrive in the magic Land of Oz. To get back home, Dorothy must find help from the Great Wizard Oz. Along the way she meets the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman and the Cowardly Lion. They also want to ask for help from the wizard. The Scarecrow wants a brain. The Woodman wants a heart. The Lion wants courage. So they go together. Lots of exciting things happen...
