Friendship is important in our life. Good friends help us when we feel sad and make happy times even better. Here are some easy ways to be a great friend.
To begin with, accept the differences between your friends and you. Everyone is different, and that's okay! Respect your friends' hobbies, cultures and opinions. Don't laugh at them for being different—support them.
Second, include everyone. If someone is alone, invite them to join your group. Ask quiet friends what they think—they might have great ideas! Small actions, like sharing snacks or saying hello, can make friends feel welcome.
Next, when someone is feeling down, they often don't need solutions—they just need someone to listen. Instead of rushing into giving advice, simply be there for them. A warm “I'm here for you” can mean more than a hundred words.
Last but not least, spend time together. Play games, watch movies, or just chat. Laugh together—it makes friendship stronger. Put your phone away when you're with friends.
