World Food Day is a special day to remind us how important food is and encourages us to value it. It is celebrated in over one hundred and fifty countries on October the sixteenth every year. It provides people with a good chance to come together, talking about food and how to make sure everyone has enough to eat. Everyone can take part on this day. You should learn to be thankful for food and help people who are hungry. First of all, finish what's on your plate and don't waste food. Secondly, share your spare food with those in need. Besides, it's also a good idea to hold some educational activities. This way, you can call on more people to value food. By working together, we will make a difference to the world and bring smiles to other people's faces.
