Dad: Mark, come here please. Did you hear the news? Let’s celebrate Christmas in a new way this year.

Mark: What are we going to do?

Mum: Well, let’s not have a big meal. We don’t want to waste food.

Mark: OK. But can we still have a Christmas cake?

Mum: No problem. I know you love it!

Dad: And this year, we won’t have a Christmas tree.

Mark: I don’t agree. A tree is really important at Christmas!

Mum: All right. Let’s make a tree from old boxes.

Dad: Maybe we can draw a tree on the wall.

Mark: I’m not sure about that. How about using the big plant in the living room? There won’t be any waste or pollution.

Dad: Great idea!

Mark: By the way, will I still have gifts? 

Mum: Yes, of course! But we’ll wrap the gifts in old newspapers.

Mark: That’s OK. But please use beautiful newspapers!
