My name is Lily, and I want to share how my hobby has helped me grow. I like painting best. When I was ten years old, I started painting. My mom noticed that I fell in love with painting and bought me my first set of paints and brushes. She also asked me to take painting classes.

In the beginning, my paintings were simple and not so good. But my teacher, Mrs Wang, helped me a lot. She taught me many skills and encouraged me to practice every day. I improved a lot. I even won a prize in a competition last year.

Painting has taught me to be patient and creative. I feel proud of my progress and thankful for the support from my mom and Mrs Wang.
