Amy is a student from Greenall Middle School. Last Saturday, she took part in a school charity run, and it was a wonderful experience for her. The run took place in the city park near her school because the park was big enough, and she joined in the activity with her 10-year-old cousin Jane. At half-time, they felt very tired and wanted to give up, but the volunteers gave them water and cheered them on loudly. With the help of the volunteers, they both completed the 3-kilometer run. They felt so proud of themselves. In fact, the charity run was held to raise money for kids in poor areas. In the end, the activity raised ＄325. The money was used to buy some gifts for the kids.
