Dear Jeff,

I am writing to tell you something about my two-week summer camp in Beijing. The summer camp that offered a variety of fun activities was for language learning. The other campers and I learnt Chinese through games, role-playing and storytelling. We also took part in activities like buying vegetables at the market and booking entrance tickets to the museum. The real-world practice gave us the chance to use the vocabulary we had learnt. 

We were involved in many cultural activities, such as fan painting, paper cutting and opera mask painting. My favorite one was fan painting. We learnt traditional fan painting skills and designed our own fans in the workshop. It was so cool to drive away the summer heat with a fan painted by myself. 

A visit to Beijing would not be complete without seeing the Great Wall and Tian'anmen Square. And I was amazed by their splendor. We also visited some famous hutongs and other places of interest. What's more, an exhibition showing China's development over the past 70 years also impressed me.
