M: I'm terribly sorry. I set off really early today but something unexpected happened.

W: Did your car break down?

W: So that's why you are late. Well, you did it right. But why didn't you answer the phone?

M: I left it in my bedroom.

W: Yes. I'm afraid you have to come in the morning.

M: OK. Come and pick me up at 10:00 am.

In other countries usually horses do that. Well, why do people in my country choose elephants to play the match? That's because the elephant is Thailand's national symbol.In this year's event, fiftyone of the competitors were teenage females. Each weighed about three tons. They carried a player, who gave directions and an elephant boy who helped to guide the animal. The elephants were borrowed from their owners.This year, the huge creatures probably have helped earn about one million dollars in donations for the care of Thailand's elephants. This was the 13th year that the sporting event took place in my country. If you're interested in the event, come to my country in early September next year.
