I'm Mike.Last week I joined an English speech competition at school.The topic was “My Dream”.There were twenty students taking part.I prepared for the speech for a long time.I wrote and practiced my speech, and my teacher gave me helpful advice.Still, I felt very nervous before my turn.I was the fifth speaker.When I went on stage, my heart was beating fast and my hands were a little shaky.I took a deep breath, looked at the audience, and began to speak.I spoke clearly and tried to smile.After the competition, the judges gave the results.To my surprise, I won first prize.I was so happy and proud.My classmates and teacher congratulated me.
