M: Shall we go to the cinema this evening? I have two tickets.

Denmark has come up with a practical idea to satisfy its clean energy needs. The nation intends to build an artificial island 80 km offshore in the North Sea. It is expected to be in full operation by 2033. Denmark hopes the ambitious project will end its reliance on coal within the next three decades. Jacob, a professor of electric power and energy, described the project as the cornerstone of the green change which will help the reduction of Danish CO₂ releases. The island will be roughly the size of 18 football fields. It is projected to cost approximately $34 billion to construct. Much of the energy produced will come from wind farms. These will produce enough electricity to power around 3 million households in Denmark. The professor claimed, "In the North Sea, we have huge potential for offshore wind, about 180 gigawatts in total. That means we can actually shut down all European coal-fired power plants. This Danish idea, at least with time, is going to be an international effort."
