W: Hi, Jack! You went to a concert last night, didn't you?
M: Yes, I should have gone with my sister. But she had a date.
W: How did you like the concert?
M: Wonderful, indeed. Many famous singers both from home and abroad sang at the concert. It was called "Saving the Children".
W: What does it mean?
M: The concert was held to collect money for poor children in Africa. Many children are homeless and they don't have enough food.
W: That's quite true, but I think it is necessary for the government to do something about the problem.
M: I agree with you. But it's also important to make all people pay attention to it.
W: That's it.
Text 10
Last Saturday, I went to the Raindrops concert at the Sky Palace with my friends. It was great! They started with their old songs and did a great job on Why, Why, Why? Everyone knew the song, so everybody stood up at the beginning and we didn't sit down until it was finished. And many people were dancing and jumping up and down. There was so much energy! The band was full of energy, too. They played for two hours. They didn't do my favourite song, Alone, and that was kind of disappointing. I really liked that song because it made me calm when I was alone. They closed with More than a Heart and we all just stood there quietly when the song was finished. I wished the concert could last forever. It is the greatest concert I've ever seen.
