M: Yes.
W: I have a ticket to New York. How can I take the plane?

W: Go down this hall to the end. Then go left?
M: That's right. Here, I'll draw you a map. Sometimes it's confusing.
W: Thank you.
M: My pleasure.

Text 9 ?
W: Hmm... Here's one picture of a crowd of people moving. I think that's pretty stressful.
M: Well, I don't think it's so bad. But I do think that going to the dentist is stressful.

W: Yes, I agree with you. What about these people here?

W: That's true. It can be terrible, especially when you're late for something important.
M: Like an interview. Look at this picture here. There is someone in an interview. Do you think interviews are stressful?
W: No. I think they're quite exciting, like challenges.?
M: Oh, I hate interviews.
Text 10?
There was a big garden near Carlton's house, and it had a lot of fruit trees in it. One day Carlton saw some beautiful apples on one of them. He went home and got a ladder, put it against the high wall of the garden and climbed up. Then he pulled the ladder up, put it down on the other side, and climbed down into the garden. Just then a gardener came round the corner and saw him. "What are you doing there?" he shouted. Carlton thought quickly and then said, "I'm selling my ladder." "Selling your ladder? In somebody else's garden? Do you think I believe such a stupid story?" said the gardener and came towards Carlton with a stick. "It's my ladder," said Carlton, "and I can sell it where I like. You needn't buy it if you don't want to." And he took his ladder and climbed over the wall.
