W:Are you looking for something fun and would you like to help other people in your free time? If yes, then you can join us.We have jobs for people of all ages. Anyone, from eighteen to sixty, can become one of us.

You can help people in many ways. Schools need help with taking care of children while their parents are working. Hospitals need us to look after children while their parents are seeing a doctor. Animal lovers can help take care of those dogs and cats without homes. There is something for everyone.

"As a member of this group, I don't want to get anything. Seeing the childrens happy faces, I am happy too," said Susan, a sixtyyearold woman."I often played computer games in my free time before. Now I help older people learn how to use computers," another one at the age of 18 said.   If everyone helps out a bit, we’ll all have a better world to live in.

五、听短文填空

下面你将听到一篇短文,短文读两遍。请你听完短文的第二遍朗读后,根据短文的内容和提示,在信息表中相应的横线上填入所缺信息。

M: Some students don't like speaking in class. Some of them nearly learn nothing or don't prepare their lessons before class at all. Some students are born shy. Although they have great ideas and understanding, they like to keep quiet. They may wait for a chance to be called. Teachers should pay them more attention. But for some students, they may not feel good about being asked to speak in class because they usually cant think of anything to say.

Group work is a good way to encourage students to talk. Every member in a small group will have more chances to talk to others. It would be easier to talk to a small number of people than to the whole class. Whats more, the students would rather talk with their classmates than talk with their teachers.
