Hi, everyone! Welcome to my blog. Here is the message I promised you. In the last three days we were taken around London in a bus. It was fantastic. I saw Big Ben, the lions in Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. The Tower of London is my favourite place because it is about a thousand years old. We also saw all the famous people made of wax at Madame Tussauds. That was funny. Jean Louis took a photograph of me standing next to Queen Elizabeth Ⅱ. Tomorrow we're going to Stratford-upon-Avon where Shakespeare was born. And we're going to see one of his plays. It's called Hamlet. There are three theatres in Stratford and we are going to see it in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Our teacher told us the houses in Stratford are about five hundred years old and the countryside is beautiful, so I'll take lots of photos to show you.

W:Good morning, welcome to the Language Center of our university. We aim at helping people improve their language ability in several languages. Now let's focus on one of our programs — the English training program. The program offers year-round English courses in eight levels from beginning to a high level. It offers a wide variety of courses for students, scholars, and professionals. The strength of the program is that it can offer courses that are specially designed to meet any student's specific needs and goals. On the first day of the program, you'll take a test to determine your level. At the end of each seven-week session, your language skills will be evaluated. And if you've made enough progress, you will be promoted to the next level. In addition, you can enter the bonus project of the Language Center which will allow you to have extra English hours with a native speaker. For more practice chances, there are also several social activities and field trips organized by the Students Center.

M: Hi, fellow workers. I have some surprising news to report. I have just come from the house agency and it seems that the owner of this place has decided not to continue to rent the house after November, sorry, I'm wrong, after December of this year. Unfortunately, that means that Burnside Cafe will have to move. Now I know that we have been at this place for over 20 years and the move will certainly raise a number of challenges. First, I'm going to have to find a suitable new place. Of course I'll be looking to keep us in the same area, hopefully somewhere right here in this neighborhood. I hope I can get that done by September. After finding a suitable place, the move itself will also be a headache. There are so many things that could go wrong. But all those difficulties can be overcome. Although we'll face some tough times over the next few months, I know I can look forward to everyone's complete cooperation. With your help, Burnside Cafe can reopen better than ever.

There is a new reason to be extra careful over the holidays and the police are warning drivers about a new rule that was passed last week. Using a cellphone while driving is now considered as an illegal behavior. And it will result in heavy fines. We can all remember last year, when a repairman suffered a severe back injury when a green car struck him. And just two months ago, a waitress walking home from work was hit, breaking both of her legs. Most recently, a college student was knocked down at a crossing from careless driving. All incidents involved cellphones. You will be ticketed right away if you are caught using cellphones while driving. So, how will the police achieve this? Well, unlike a traditional road block, officers will be standing at crossings, monitoring drivers as they come to a stop. Previously, the police asked other people to call in and report other drivers, but it's not clear how effective that was. So, be careful when you are out. Not just for your own safety, but for others as well.
