M: I can't believe I've actually graduated and I'm leaving tonight. I enjoyed studying with you these years.

W: Same here. And hey, don't forget to email me once in a while. Let me know how everything goes with you.

W: Do you think that Professor Monroe would let me interview her? I'm writing an article on campus research projects for the newspaper.

M: Why not? I mean, she loves discussing her research.

M: Linda, you make grape wine by yourself? That's amazing! Is it difficult?

W: No, but it takes time. You have to wash the grapes several times, throw the imperfect ones, juice the left ones, and mix the liquid with water and sugar for a long time. But it's very interesting indeed.

W: Then what efforts have you made so far?

M: Well, in addition to teaching relevant knowledge to landowners, I also do commercial projects. You can hear me Sundays from 8 am to 11 am on the radio. And my column in the Dallas Morning News appears Thursdays.

W: As I know, you've also written many books on organic gardening, such as Dear Dirt Doctor, Herbs for Texas, and Plants for Texas.

听下面一段独白,回答第17至第20四个小题。现在你有20秒钟的时间阅读这四个小题。

Good evening, everyone! In a few days, it will finally be  time to lie on the beach and enjoy the hot summer. However, when it comes to outdoor activities, whether you're relaxing at the lake or hanging out in the backyard, you need to pay attention to the weather. To make sure that you're prepared for the upcoming July, here's the first week's forecast for the entire country. If you live in the northeastern part, you've probably been using the air conditioning to fight heatwaves in the past week. Fortunately, the discomfort of extreme heat will ease. There will be some spotty thunderstorms  on their way. And temperatures will likely drop  below 21℃. The Midwest is often called flyover country, but it might be the best place to celebrate the holiday. AccuWeather reports that the majority of the region will experience cool temperatures with sunny skies. Sadly, for residents in the South, I suggest you reschedule your outdoor plans. The Weather Channel reports that parts of the South, specifically along the Gulf of Mexico, will see thunderstorms this week.
