M:Do you know who the Father of China's Railroad is? He is Zhan Tianyou. Mr. Zhan was born in Guangzhou, 1861 and died in Hankou, 1919. In 1872, he was sent to America to study.  In 1878, he entered Yale University to study railway project. He finished his study in 1881 and came back to China in the same year. He worked as a teacher at first. In 1888, he worked as an engineer in Tianjin. In 1905, Zhan Tianyou and his workmen began to build the railway from Beijing to Zhangjiakou. They finished the Beijing-Zhangjiakou railway in 1909. And he was very famous for it.
