M: I'd love to, but I have a tight schedule today. I'm going to the library in the morning, and then after lunch I will work on the farm.

 

 

W: It looks really good. How do you make it?

M: Sorry, I can't tell you. It's a secret. Now please help me take it to the table. 

W: OK.I'm sure everybody at the party will enjoy tasting it. 

M: My washing machine died, so I went out to deal with the dirty clothes. It took me a long time.

M: Really?I have lived here for several months, but I've never noticed it!

W: Well, its owner never puts up a sign outside the store; it is picked up by word of mouth in our neighborhood.

W: That's cool.So do you still have time to see a movie?

M: Yeah, but you can go home first. Let me finish my responsibilities first, and then I'll call you.

Bill Wyatt is our head coach, and many of our former football players have gone to good colleges for free because of their excellent skills. Besides, this year, we have a new system for your lunch. The food list will be emailed to your parents in advance each week. They will choose food for you and pay through ParentPay. The last announcement for today: We have a new smartphone management policy.

Students will not be allowed to bring smartphones to the teaching buildings. We've provided special lockers beside the school gate to keep your phones safe. If you need to contact family members during class hours, come to the teacher's office and ask your teacher for permission. We hope you all have a successful school year!
