M: Yes.I do cook. I always come here to buy some fruit and vegetables.
W: Really?
M: I attended cooking classes in Beijing. I learned some tips on how to cook Chinese food. I was   lucky to have good teachers to teach me how to make nice food.
W: I didn't know that you were a good cook. I like cooking very much but I am not that good.
M: Come on! We can learn from each other.
W: OK.I'll join you.

M: Hi! Looking forward to the weekend?
W: Sure.It's been a busy week.
M: Yes, it has. What are you going to do this weekend?
W: Not decided yet. How about you?
M: Well, I'm thinking of playing tennis on Saturday afternoon. John and Linda want to play too.Would you like to join us?
W: Sure, that would be fun. I haven't got anything planned on Saturday.
M: Great! How about 3 o'clock?
W: Good! That would be a good time for me. Where shall we meet?
M: Why don't I come to your place around 2:30?

W: You don't look quite well. What's wrong?
M: I'm afraid I've got a cold.
W: How could you catch a cold in such hot weather?
M: My friend Tom came over to visit me yesterday. It was hot and he was sweating all over. So I turned on the air conditioner. We stayed in the cool room for about two hours and then went outside. It was burning hot outside.
W: No wonder. It's very easy to get sick when you go out into the hot sun after staying in an air-conditioned room.
M: That's not the whole story. Later we went swimming in the lake nearby. It was hot, but the water felt a little cold.
W: You really shouldn't have done that.
M: I know. I felt sick as soon as I came back. I went to bed without even eating anything. I took some pills, but I still feel terrible. I'll never do such a foolish thing again.

W: Can you tell me what happened?
M: Sure. Today I invited my friend Jack to see a funny movie at 3 pm. I remembered. I took out my wallet to buy two tickets and some drinks. Then we went inside to watch the movie. When it was over, I found my wallet was gone.
W: So, you lost it in the cinema.
M: Exactly. I asked Jack if he had taken it from me, and he sincerely said that he had not.
W: Did you search the area?
M: No. That's your job. I am here because I want you to do it.
W: But we don't have enough power to do so.
M: I don't care. It's your responsibility to help me.
W: OK.
M: (A mobile phone rings.) Hello.Um...What! You shouldn't have done that!
W: What's the matter?
M: Jack stole my wallet. Today is April Fool's Day. He just wanted to make a joke.
