He even offered to work in the store to make up for what he had caused.Both the owner and the police officer were greatly touched by his honesty. The owner told John that there was no need for him to work in the store. The police officer came to his school, had lunch with him and brought him a gift for his honesty. His teacher was proud of him and spoke highly of him.

No one told John what to do after he broke the window. He just did the right thing. He has won everyone’s praise for his honesty.
