M: I have five friends. They all like music. Kate is a quiet girl. She likes soft and quiet music. It can help her sleep well. John is an active boy. He likes to dance to rock music. Celia likes singing, so she likes music that she can sing along with.  Peter likes classical music, and he is good at playing the piano. Bob likes to listen to the  music that can make him relaxed.  As for me, I like to listen to music that isn’t too loud.

W: Hello, my name is Lily. Pipa is a traditional Chinese instrument. I started to learn to play it when I was eleven years old. My aunt was my first teacher. Now I am a student at a college of music. And I am still learning to play the pipa there. I have a part-time job of playing it in a famous teahouse. All the customers love my shows. When I graduate, I prefer to be a teacher at a music training school and teach kids to play the pipa.

W:Hello, everyone. I’m Sally. I really enjoy listening to music because it helps me relax and takes my mind off things. I like Western music best because the lyrics  are great. When I get home, I usually turn on the TV and enjoy some concerts of my favorite singers.
